I Love To See The Temple

Thursday night I had the amazing opportunity to go through the temple for the first time to receive my endowments! It was the most beautiful experience I've ever had! I'm so grateful for all the people who were there to support me in this huge step. The feeling of accomplishment you get when you reach a goal that you've worked for for a long time is exactly what I've been feeling the last couple days. This has been my goal my whole life and I can finally say "I did it!" I remember singing "I love to see the temple, I'm going there someday" in primary and knowing that someday I was going to go to the temple. How grateful I am for this beautiful place of peace and love.
Then Friday Morning I had the chance to go to my cousin's wedding in the temple! It truly is amazing to feel the spirit as strong as it is in the temple. I am so grateful to be a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. It brings so much happiness and joy into my life!

I have the best older brother who sets the best example for me
and supports me in everything I do! I'm so blessed!

I truly have the best family and support system! I don't know what I'd do without them.

Kyle's Reaction

Since my boyfriend, Kyle (Elder Johnson), is serving in France and wasn't able to be there when I opened my call, I sent him the video and told him that he needed to make a video of his reaction. So this week he sent me the video of his response. I miss him like crazy and wish he could've been there, but I am so proud of him and his decision to serve the Lord. He is such a good example to me and I hope I can be half the missionary that he is!

I am so grateful for him in my life and the amazing support that he is to me!

Mission Call

I've been called to the New York Rochester Mission and I couldn't be more excited to get out and serve the people of New York. In addition to proselyting, part of my mission includes the Hill Cumorah Visitor's Center! As much as I had hoped to go foreign, I know without a single doubt in my mind that this mission is absolutely PERFECT for me! I know that there is someone that the Lord is preparing for me to teach and I am certain that there are many, many people that the Lord is preparing to teach me! I leave for the Provo Missionary Training Center on June 11, 2014. President and Sister Francis from Anaheim California will be my mission President. I'm so excited to meet them and serve under their direction.

I am so grateful to have the sweetest, most supportive
parents in the whole world!

I truly am so blessed to have such a good
support system to be behind me
every step of the way.
